1. Why do I need a screen protector?
Like many investments, you want to protect your car’s navigation screen from damage as well as give it
anti-glare and fingerprint resistance that our screen protectors provide. This maintains the value of your car
and saves you from potential high-cost repairs in the case of a breakage.
2. What makes your products different than the $10 ones out there?
Our screen protectors are specifically designed to solve many flaws that exist in other competing products.
Durability, thickness, adhesion, scratch resistance, shatter resistance, and proper fitment are just some of
the issues we addressed and solved with our premium screen protectors.
3. How thick are the screens?
Our screens are 0.33 mm (about 13/1000ths of an inch) thick. After prototyping and testing
hundreds of formulas and iterations, we found this to be the optimal thickness without sacrificing durability
or touch responsiveness.
4. How does the screen protector stick to my navigation? Is it glued?
Our protectors use a new silicone-based adhesive that lets you remove and reapply with ease and maintain adhesion
over time. It withstands rapid temperature changes in extreme heat or cold, and won’t leave sticky residue on
your screen.
5. Does a screen protector void my car manufacturer’s warranty?
No. KYKR protectors are easily removable and do not damage your screen. They help reduce wear and tear by
preventing scratches and everyday impact damage.
6. What happens if the glass breaks?
Our products include a shatter-retention film that prevents the tempered glass from breaking into sharp pieces.
It’s a safety feature to help protect you and your passengers, especially in a crash.
7. What is your screen protector made of?
Japanese Asahi Dragontrail™ tempered glass for high durability and flexibility, paired with a protective
shatter-resistant layer, anti-reflective coating, glare-reducing component, oleophobic (anti-fingerprint)
layer, and high-quality silicone adhesive.
8. Do you have a matte option?
We’re working on a matte counterpart. Before release, we’re addressing common matte trade-offs such as reduced
brightness, color accuracy, and sharpness.
9. I installed it and see dust trapped underneath—what now?
Gently peel back the protector and use the included dust-collecting stickers to lift particles. Re-lay the
protector—the silicone adhesive allows clean reapplication.
10. What should I do if my product cracks or gets ruined?
Under typical shipping, installation, and daily use, it shouldn’t break—even under corner pressure. If you
experience otherwise, contact us and we’ll make it right.
11. Where are you located?
We’re an American-based company. Research, design, and prototyping are done in-house to ensure quality. Our
support team is US-based—no language barriers.
12. What is the warranty term?
Standard 2-year free replacement warranty, extendable by 3 additional years (total of 5 years) when
